We are coming to WDW 1/11-1/18 and was thinking of the Photopass+. I will be 7 months pregnant and not able to go on the bigger rides and my hubby prob won't either. Do you think it's worth it to do that one or should we stick with the reg photo pass?

    Hi Erin!

Disney's PhotoPass+ can offer some really great savings if you generally like to purchase attraction photos or photo packages from dining locations, The Pirates League and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Plus, you will have all of your images and the limited rights for printing with any method you choose. The cost of photo packages are around $31.00 and with PhotoPass+ not only do you get the printed photo package, you also get a digital image of each individual pose that is taken.  Now I'm a numbers gal so let's take a look at the savings to see if it makes "cents" for you to purchase PhotoPass+.

The regular PhotoPass CD is $169.95 or $119.95 if you take advantage Disney's PhotoPass pre-arrival offer, PhotoPass+ is $199 or $149.  If you plan to purchase at least one photo package during you vacation, you will pretty much break even for the cost of upgrading from the regular PhotoPass CD to PhotoPass+. Attraction photos are priced starting around $14.95, even though your husband does not plan to ride any of the bigger attractions, it would leave you with the option if you decided to purchase PhotoPass+.

PhotoPass+ is a great product and can really save some of your Disney dollars, it is best to decide if you would actually purchase attraction, dining or other special photos that would justify the extra cost. Even if you do not plan to purchase any attraction photos, it is still worth the expense if you would like to purchase dining photo packages.

I hope this was helpful!  Please let me know if you have anymore questions or need advice while planning your upcoming vacation!

    Best Wishes!
