We are coming to WDW from south MS. We are planning to leave on March 1 its only about a 9 hour drive but I am worried about getting to the resort a little late, should we just plan for the following day and stay somewhere else on that Sun. nite? Thanks!

    Hi Jeniffer,

There is no problem with arriving at your resort late in the evening (or even in the middle of the night, which happened to us one trip after a very delayed flight), as the front desk is staffed 24 hours per day.  If you know you are arriving late, I would recommend giving the resort a quick call to ensure that they know that you are, in fact, on  your way.  I think sticking with one resort for your entire stay (versus staying off-property and having to unpack, re-pack, move, etc.) would be more convenient.  In addition, you'll wake up the next morning at your Disney resort, and be ready to head to one of the parks.  If you check in the next day, your room won't be guaranteed until later in the afternoon after check-in time.

    Have a great trip!
