    Hi Viviane,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your questions! We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations. You are choosing between two lovely resorts, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. I am sure that you will have a great time no matter which one you choose! I would recommend Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside for you. Let me share with you why.

I find Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside to be very charming in theme. You can also walk to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, and do some exploring there. Disney's Caribbean Beach has a relaxed beach theme, but for quaintness and charm, I prefer Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.

As to location and convenience, these two resorts are actually fairly close to each other, with Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort a little closer to Epcot and Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside a bit closer to Magic Kingdom. From both resorts, Disney transportation is by bus to almost all locations. However, because Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is located on the Sassagoula River, you can take a boat from this resort to Disney Springs, which I find to be another point in its favor.

I do believe that overall, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is the "fancier" of the two resorts. It is the one that I would choose, but if you end up at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, I am sure you will enjoy it there as well.

I hope that these thoughts were helpful for you, Viviane! Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
