Hi Terri,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. My family and I recently visited Walt Disney World, and we had a fabulous time visiting Disney Hollywood Studios and all of the Star Wars attractions there. My daughter and husband love a ride on Star Tours - The Adventures Continue, and all three of us enjoyed exploring
Star Wars Launch Bay.
You are correct in noting that there are no times posted for Star Wars fireworks in September yet. I believe that this is because Disney is creating a new Star Wars Nighttime Spectacular for Disney's Hollywood Studios! The new show will be called "Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular" and will build on the currently running fireworks show with the addition of pyrotechnics, video projection, and much more.
My family was able to enjoy both
Fantastmic! and the currently running
Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular in one night. We saw the first show of Fantasmic! and then walked quickly to a spot to see the fireworks and had time to spare before the fireworks began. While there is no guarantee that you will be able too do this when the new show debuts, it seems to me that Disney does try to schedule nighttime shows so that you can take in as much as possible. I suggest that you monitor the Disney Parks Blog for updates on the new show, and when it is announced, check the schedule for times.
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Terri. Have a wonderful time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
