We are coming to WDW in September with a DS3 and DS 3 month old and we are going to Chef Mickey's at 7:30 am and will be driving to the parks, will we be able to go ahead and park at MK and ride the monorail over to the Contemp Resort that early?

    Hi Watson!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

In years past, I would have said absolutely.  However, this year there has been a lot of work on the monorail line and there's a good chance it won't be running that early unless it is a Morning Extra Magic Hour day for the Magic Kingdom.

Thus I recommend parking at the Contemporary and going to breakfast at Chef Mickey's.  If it is a busy day at the Contemporary, you might be issued a temporary parking pass.

I hope this helps!  Please write back if you have any more questions!
