Coming to WDW in Sept. Traveling with a 2 yo and 1 yo. Thinking about going to MNSHP. Will they enjoy this or should we start the trip with Mickey's Backyard BBQ instead? Thanks for all your help...the panel is wonderful!!!

    Hi Erin,

My family just loves Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom.  Your children will love dressing up and seeing their favorite Disney Characters in costume and Trick-or-Treat around the Magic Kingdom!  The party starts at 7:00 pm and will last until Midnight.  There is a  Boo to You parade with the Headless Horseman riding down Main Street U.S.A. beginning this wonderful parade.  There are also special HalloWishes fireworks in the evening.  I am not sure how long your children will be able to stay up but the Halloween Party is great fun!

Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is an all you can eat Disney Character Dance party.  You will have dinner with chicken, ribs, hot dogs, and corn on the cob to name a few items.  If your kids love dancing, this will be a great time.  It is limited time and won't go on all evening so this may be a great option as well.  I don't think you can go wrong, Erin, in your choice.  It will depend on how your kids do at night.  I would tend to go to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party because this is only during a few months out of the year, and it is one of my favorite events!  I hope you have a magical vacation.
