We are coming to WDW Sept 26 thru ocT 3 First time for myself, husband and 6yo daughter- staying outside of WDW can you still get a meal plan if not staying in one of the resorts? IF not any suggestions on not over spending on meals?

    Hi Tracey,

Congratulations on your first vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!  I know you will make life long, magical memories with your family.  Currently, Disney dining plans are options available exclusively to Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels with Magic Your Way Vacation packages

I would suggest maybe sharing Quick-Service Meals (hamburgers, fries, pizza) in the theme parks.  Pack a backpack with snacks and bring your own bottled water.  Also, eating breakfast in your room saves a lot of money.  You could also eat some of your meals off property which may cut some of the cost(s).

Let me know if you have any other questions!  Have a magical day!
