Coming to WDW Sept 1-Sept 11 with 9yr son and 6 yr dght(she'll celebrate birthday 9/11). Which HS restaurant would be best for that age? 50's Prime Time or Sci Fi?? Thanks!

    Hi Brandy,

A very happy birthday is in order to your princess! Be sure to pick up a special "birthday button" for her on your first day.

You'd likely receive different answers to your question if you polled us all, as there is a very large following of Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater fans, but I believe they are going more so for the unique atmosphere.  The menus can be found on the disneyworld.com site. Clicking the links I've provided will help you determine which entrees would appeal best to your family. If it were up to me, I'd probably choose 50's Prime Time Cafe as my kids get an absolute kick out of the server antics. It's also pretty neat for them to see kitchens as they were in the 1950s. If your little one frightens easily, 50s Prime Time Cafe will be the better bet. The movies shown at Sci-Fi are not intended to be scary (more cheesy than scary) but the dark dining room and images of zombies could play a factor in your decision.

Have fun planning, Brandy, and let us know of any other questions coming to mind. We're happy to help!
