    We are coming to WDW in sept. I heard the refillable mugs have a chip in then so it limits you to refill only at your resort. If so can you pay extra to refill at other resorts

    Hi Tomi!

    The refillable mugs at all of the Walt Disney World resorts are getting a little bit of a change in the very near future. While you are correct that they will have a microchip installed into the mugs, they will be able to be used at all of the resorts without worrying about a "Home Resort Only" policy. They will also go up in price for length of stays, but they also will offer a lower cost for shorter stays. I would love for one day to be able to use the mugs at the Theme Parks. Maybe that is a next step which they could be contemplating?  Sure would be nice wouldn't it?
