Coming to WDW in Sept, already booked dining. Noticed the Halloween party will be happening the last ngiht we're there from 7-midnight, but we have reservations at Garden Grill at 6:30. Any way we can make it back to MK in time to make it worth the xtra $?

Hi Angie!  I honestly think it would be best to make a decision between the two and not try to do both.  Your Garden Grill reservation states 6:30pm but you likely won't be seated until around 6:45. Then you will want to stay until you meet and greet all the characters that are there for dinner so rushing isn't in the cards for this meal.  Getting back to the Magic Kingdom will take you another 45 minutes so you might not walk into the park until 9pm.  That gives you three hours but for the extra price of the ticket and the late hour of the night you might not enjoy it fully.

There are two parades each night for the party at 8:15pm and 10:30pm and the fireworks are at 9:30pm.  You could definitely see both the fireworks and the late parade if that is primarily what your interest is.  If you have other character dining during your trip my vote would be to go to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party and forgo Garden Grill. You can enter the Magic Kingdom often as early as 4pm with the special event ticket even though the party doesn't officially start until 7pm. Hard decisions but all choices are magical so whatever you decide will be a good one!
