    Coming to WDW in 2012, which resort on the monorail would be our best choice...our kids are 5 and 6? Want to make reservations soon. Heard contemporary great but chef mickey loud and heard from many rooms in the tower building..no garden rooms available.

    As much as I love the Contemporary, I think the Polynesian may work best for your plan. It has a beautiful view of the Magic Kingdom, a nice beach area, great themed pool for the kids, and a couple of nice on-site dining options. It is definitely one of my favorite resorts!!
    Another option to consider might be Disney's Wilderness Lodge. I am staying here as I type this and I LOVE it. The theming is incredible, food options are good, pool area is nice, and you can hop a boat to the Magic Kingdom as easily as the monorail. Might be worth considering.
