Coming to WDW w/ a 10 yo pickyeater! Sometime he eats from the adult menu, others from a kid's menu. We are doing the dining plan and while I know it may not be cost efficient for him to eat from the kid's menu. Is he allowed to order from the kid's menu?

    Hi there Alison,

Your son shouldn't have any issue with ordering off of the children's menu at most locations around the Walt Disney World Resort, but it is honestly up to each restaurant to decide.  I have traveled with friends who have been in similar situations, and there has never been a problem.

That said, Disney World prides itself on being able to accommodate all sorts of special requests...especially those that involve food!  If your son has a larger appetite, be sure to speak to your server about the possibility of modifying entrees on the adult menu to suit his taste!  You may be surprised with what the chef can offer up at the table service locations. This way, your son will receive an adult sized portion which makes the decision more cost effective!  My rule of thumb is to always ask!

    Best Wishes,
