    I am coming to wdw for the opening of Star Wars Galaxy Edge. Will Disney have extra magic hours for Hollywood Studios that weekend? I am also staying at Caribbean Beach that weekend in hopes that the gondola will be open. Thank you Kelley

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    There has been so much excitement around Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, with the opening date recently being announced for 29th August at Walt Disney World. Whenever something so spectacular opens (remember Pandora - The World of Avatar, and Toy Story Land?) everyone wants to experience it. If you are heading to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, please note that it will be available during Extra Magic Hours, and capacity will be limited.  At this time, Disney's Hollywood Studios is offering Extra Magic Hours on Monday 2nd September 2019, but please keep checking the calendar because it's possible this could change.  

    "Later this Fall" is all we know about the opening of the brand new Disney Skyliner Gondolas. They have already  created much discussion and excitement, especially as testing is now underway and Guests have seen them up in the sky, making their way around Walt Disney World Resort.  Their actual designs are still under wraps but they are sure to make a spectacular sight as they transport Guests smoothly between Disney's Hollywood Studios or Epcot to four Disney Resort hotels - Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort as well as the forthcoming newest Resort for the Disney Vacation Club - Disney’s Riviera Resort.
