I am coming to WDW in October in my party I have a 7 year old reg blind and a disabled lady could you please tell me how it is possible to become part of the parade as when I was there 15 years ago there was a float with the general public on thank you.

    Hi Denise!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

Years ago there was a special parade in the Magic Kingdom that guests could easily join in.  However, that no longer exists.  Guests are invited to help open the Magic Kingdom and there are a few guests selected sometimes for the various parades in the parks, especially the parade in Animal Kingdom, but it is a very random event.  Generally, it is considered a "magical moment" and there is no way to sign up for it.  One basically has to be in the right spot at the right time.

I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you, but please write back with more questions!
