We are coming to WDW in Oct but are not attending the halloween party in MK. We do want to be able to attend the fireworks/parades. Will this cause a conflict or is the party on different nights than the fireworks? Don't want to be disappointed. Thanks

    Hi Amy,

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is held on select evenings in the Magic Kingdom.  On the nights that MNSSHP is not held, you should be able to see any regularly scheduled parades and fireworks. On the nights that MNSSHP is being held, no regular fireworks or night time parades will be held as MK will close early to prepare for the special separate ticketed event.

You can check the on-line calendar for parades and fireworks at the Magic Kingdom during your visit by clicking here.  You can change the month by clicking on the drop down list beside the View Month tab and then click on a specific day to see the parade and fireworks schedule.

Disney has not posted the dates for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for fall of 2010 yet.  However, I have seen some dates posted on some unofficial websites. Tickets have not gone on sale yet but have typically gone on sale around the beginning of May. Again we've seen no official word on event dates or the date they'll go on sale but we're keeping our "mouse ears" to the ground. I recommend keeping an eye out on Disney's official page for MNSSHP by clicking here.  You can also keep an eye on Disney's official twitter accounts WaltDisneyWorld and DisneyParks.

No worries, unless you are only visiting dates when MNSSHP is being held, you will indeed get to see the regular nightly events.

Please let us know if you have more questions.  We love helping guests plan their trips!  Wishing you many magical memories :-)
