    Coming to WDW in Oct w/4 adults, 2/seniors & 2 kids (14 & 11). Looking for new experiences, I read something about watching animals w/night vision goggles...from the Animal Kingdom Lodge?? Do you have to be a guest @ that resort? Is there a chrg

    I love that you are adventurous and willing to try new things!  Walt Disney World has so much to offer, I wonder if I'll ever get to try it all!



    Here is a wonderful blog post on the Disney Parks Blog about Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge After Dark-Night Vision.  This is free attraction available to Guests who are visiting or staying at the Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge.  You will need to check the monthly activity calendar for the AKL Resort for October to find out specific times and availability.  I have heard that it is usually offered nightly, but this could be subject to change, especially due to weather conditions, etc...  I suggest calling the Animal Kingdom Lodge directly to inquire about the availability of this activity while you are visiting.  If you do plan to go, I would like to highly recommend dining at one of the fabulous restaurants while there, Boma - Flavors of Africa, or Jiko-The Cooking Place.  They both offer superior dining experiences.



    Another special event you may want to try is the Wild Africa Trek in Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.  It is a 3-hour ultimate animal adventure!  I won't spoil all the surprises but the words "harness" and "dangling" and "exotic wildlife" are used in the description!
