We are coming to WDW in November and have the dining plan. I was wondering do we get dessert with our table service meals? On my last trip to the world we only got small chocolate or carrot cake at quick service locations.

Hello Jessica!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I love the ease and convenience of the Disney Dining Plan, we never travel to Walt Disney World without it.

Without knowing which Disney Dining Plan you have selected for your November vacation, it is hard to give you an accurate answer.  However, I am going to assume you are on the standard plan that consists of 1 Table Service Credit, 1 Quick Service Credit and 1 Snack credit per night stayed at a Walt Disney World Resort.  With your Table Service Credit, you are entitled to 1 non alcoholic beverage, 1 entree and 1 dessert per person.  You can also redeem your table service credit at all-you-care-to-enjoy locations for 1 non alcoholic beverage and all the items on the buffet, which include dessert.  At quick service locations, you are also entitled to 1 non alcoholic beverage, 1 entree and 1 dessert as well.  At Table Service Meals where you would order a single item for an entree, you will be permitted to choose your dessert off of their dessert menu.  At all-you-care-to-enjoy restaurants, you are free to enjoy as much as you would like of the desserts that are provided.  I think you will be happy to know that at Quick Service locations, I find the desserts have gotten better and there is more of a variety than there was before.

I hoped this helped!  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.  Have a magical day.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
