Happy Holidays, Penny!
And welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you so much for stopping by to send us such a fun question.
One of the things I love most about visiting
Walt Disney World® Resort during the holidays is seeing all the fun and festive things guests come up with when decorating their Resort hotel rooms! You can definitely add a string of lights around your window, just make sure you pack an extension cord and possibly a surge protector - it's hard to say exactly where the closest outlet to the window may be. I've also seen static window decals that can peel on and off the windows easily, and even battery-operated light-up wreaths and garland. Be creative, it's up to you on how you'd like to show your holiday spirit.
However, I do know there are a few no-no's in customizing your space while visiting: You cannot decorate with anything that may put a hole in the wall, like nails or tacks, or hang anything using products that contain adhesive backings as they tend to peel the paint off the walls - basically nothing that would be considered "permanent" may be used.
I hope this information is helpful in planning your Resort room holiday decor, Penny! Some of our Resorts are quite large, so decorating your window is not only fun, but also functional in helping your family to identify your room after a long day in the parks.
Wishing you magical merriment!
