We are coming to WDW November 13-15. I booked this week thinking it would be before all the holiday crowds, but I just read on here that this is a holiday week and that kids are out of school. Is this true? What holiday takes place at this time? Thanks

    Hi there Emily,

November 11th is Veterans Day and many schools and government offices across the country will be closed in observance of this holiday.  While it is impossible to predict actual park attendance on any given day, based on personal experience, I think the crowds will be a little elevated in the days prior to Veteran's Weekend (November 9-12) and should taper off again by the time you arrive, as schools and businesses will be slated to reopen on the 13th.

Even during Veteran's Weekends past, the crowds, though a bit busier than usual, have not been overwhelming by any means!  I think you've actually chosen a great time to visit since many families will be holding off until Thanksgiving... not to mention the cool climate and fabulous Holiday decorations!

    Best Wishes,
