We're coming to WDW Nov/10. Is the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage part of the dining plan? And if not, how much does it cost? My little pirate will be celebrating his 6th bday while we're there

    Jennifer:

Unfortunately, the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage is not a part of the Disney Dining Plan--although I'm sure some kids might think all-you-can-eat cotton candy, popcorn, and coke should be!

Our family went on the cruise in November to celebrate our son's 5-year-old birthday, too. At that time, the cost was about $54 for adults/$31 for the kids.  Even though a lot of the pirate humor was aimed at the adults on that night, the youngsters in our crew loved meeting Captain Hook, Smee, and even got their picture taken with Peter Pan. What I loved most about the evening was the spectacular view of the fireworks from the water--the best seat in all of the Magic Kingdom, even better than the train station INSIDE the Magic Kingdom. (And if you're loading at the front of the boat, your best views will be from the right-hand side of the boat. But keep in mind that you have assigned seats/rows.)

HINT: Book a cruise (407-939-7529) on one of the nights that they're holding a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party--the fireworks show will be even more spectacular!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
