We are coming to WDW in Nov as 3 groups, all traveling separately: a pair of grandparents, two families of 4. Kids will be 3yo--8yo. Can you recommend a good first night without a park admission? Spirit of Aloha? Hoop de doo? Pirates and pals?

    Hello NN!

Wow...this sounds like a REALLY fun group of people!  I have seven people in my family...can we just come join you all as well?!

What a great question!  My family has experienced all three of your AWESOME first night ideas.  If I were to choose between your three ideas, I would most definitely choose the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage!  The ages of my kids range from 12 years old to two years old.  The Pirates and Pals Fireworks Cruise appealed to all of them and really kept their attention the whole time.  It's also great to start off your MAGICAL vacation by shaking hands and taking pictures with characters from Peter Pan AND seeing some really cool fireworks!

My older kids LOVED Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, but my younger kids lost interest at the very end.  (However, I will tell you that the Hoop-Dee-Doo is my all-time favorite Dinner Show...ever!)  To be honest, my kids did not like Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show.  It is a nice show, but my kids did not get the jokes and lost interest pretty quickly.

I hope this helps you as you plan your vacation!  If you have other questions, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
