Hi Arisa!
First off, Congratulations on your new Mouseketeer!! Get ready for the
ride of your life! We visited Walt Disney World Resort for our Baby-moon when I was seven months along with my now almost three-year-old. It was the perfect blend of spending some last quality pre-parental one-on-one time with my husband, and eating every pregnancy-craving snack in sight. You're going to have so much fun!
Yes, there is a helpful guide of attractions that Disney has extensively researched and deemed to be worthy of an
Expectant Mother Advisory. Look over this list with your doctor to get the final approval. There are some obvious inclusions, like those with high speeds or inversions. However, I did ride Kilimanjaro Safaris as we drove eight hours in a car to get to Orlando, and both my doctor and I decided that the attraction wasn't any worse than my drive to Florida. Also note that of the thirty listed attractions, half are really fast water slides.
Bonus Tip: This visit might be your very first to
Disney's Baby Care Centers! Located in each of Disney's Theme Parks, definitely stop in while you're enjoying your Disney Days to take a break from the heat, put your feet up, and get a drink of cool water. But also have a look around to check out all of the supplies and services they have to offer so you'll know how to best plan your precious bundles first trip to meet Mickey.
Bonus Bonus Tip: Don't forget to pick up a 'First Visit' button at Guest Relations to wear on your bump for at least one photo. It also pairs well with
baby's first ears.
Congratulation again, Arisa, and We'll See You Real Soon!
