Coming to WDW next month before Christmas. I was wondering if there is a mailbox for kids to drop their wish list to Santa? Thanks

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lenora! I have such great news for you! You will absolutely find real, working mailboxes at Walt Disney World Resort in the parks!

I recently had a day of exploring and knocking off off the beaten path activities when I remembered to USE these mailboxes! I stepped into Magic Kingdom’s Emporium and purchased a postcard with my favorite attractions on it, and pulled a pen from my purse. I also remembered to pack a stamp (but if I hadn’t, you can buy those, too!) and then addressed the card to my brother, who loves to get mail at his Coast Guard Base. Afterwards, I stepped out onto the bustling Main Street, U.S.A. to one of the many working mailboxes and slipped the note in. Each day, the mail is collected from several mailboxes across the parks and sent to a U.S. Post Office for distribution! While you won’t get a Magic Kingdom Postmark, you might be able to stop by City Hall and get a rubber stamp and ink mark to really enhance your magic mail to your loved one! I’m sure Santa will love getting mail from your kids while on vacation!

What fun it will be for your kids to use the mailboxes, too! You may also be able to “send a note from Mickey” home to your kids thanking them for your visit. Depending on when you send it, it might make it home before you do, welcoming your family back! If you have more questions about your upcoming vacation plans, please return to ask me another question. I’m hEAR for you! ~ Lindsey P.
