Coming to WDW for New Years! Planning to have a blast at MK (daughter is five), doing the pirates league and spending the day. Thinking about going over to polynesian hotel to ring in new year, if she lasts. Are there restrictions on non-hotel guests?

    Hi Christina!

New Years at Walt Disney World is absolutely magical! Congratulations on your upcoming trip!
It sounds like you've been planning a fun-filled day for your daughter!

On particularly busy evenings such a New Year's Eve, there are restrictions for the Magic Kingdom Area Resorts' beaches and a wrist band system is in place for resort guests only, to ensure that over-crowding does not occur.. While you may be able to visit the resort itself and enjoy festivities indoors or a dining reservation, you'll not likely be able to gain access to the beach area.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question. Please feel free to write me back at any time if I can assist you further with your plans.

I hope your daughter enjoys her transformation experience at the Pirates League.
Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Christina!

    Kirsten
