    Coming to WDW in a month with my family to celebrate my 39th bday! Have ADR for 6:40 at Whispering Canyon and want to make it back to Epcot for Illuminations at 9:00. Is this possible? If so, what will be the quickest route to take - bus or boat/monorail?

    You should be able to make it.  Dinner at Whispering Canyon usually takes about an hour or so.  I would try to leave by 8pm just to be safe.

    The fastest way to get to Epcot will be to take the resort bus.  It can take you up to 30 minutes to get to the Magic Kingdom via the boats. Then it can take up to 15 minutes to get to Epcot via the monorail.  The buses are a much safer bet.
