Hi we are coming to WDW in May. I was wondering what time the fireworks are likely to be at Magic Kingdom as I am trying to plan dinner reservations.

    Hi Heather Joy!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are picking a great time for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! May is the perfect time for a visit because the weather is beautiful and a vacation is a great way get ready for summer. Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as you continue planning so you can get the latest news about things headed to Walt Disney World Resort in time for your trip!

I took a look at the Park Hours for May and you are in luck because both park hours and nighttime entertainment are posted for the beginning of May. While hours and showtimes are always subject to change, currently Happily Ever After, the Magic Kingdom fireworks show, is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. for the first two weeks of May. So I would plan that Happily Ever After will be at 9:00 p.m. for the entire month, which will allow you to make your dining reservations to allow you to enjoy a fantastic dinner and these incredible fireworks!

Be sure to keep an eye on the Park Hours calendar as your trip approaches for the schedule for the end of May. Also, hours and showtimes can sometimes be adjusted as your trip approaches. Let us know if there are other questions we can help you with as you continue to plan your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
