Cheryl, hello and welcome to
planDisney. I'm so glad you've dropped by to chit-chat about your upcoming
Walt Disney World vacation.
It sounds like you have some super fun days planned for your trip coming up in May. It will be here before you know it. I love splish-splashing around
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. In fact, I've actually made the 8-hour drive to enjoy a day of fun in the sun only to turn around and drive back home afterward. It's that awesome!
Cheryl, I think you'll be happy to know that your
park pass reservations are good for the entire day. They don't disappear if you don't enter the theme parks in the morning. They will guarantee you theme park entry at any point throughout the day. So you can spend as much time at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon as you'd like and then in the evening enjoy the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks no problem.
While you are at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, I hope you'll schedule lots of time to get thrashed around by the
surf pool. It's undoubtedly my favorite thing there. Life-size waves erupt every few minutes throughout the day and it is just so much silly fun. The waves are actually so big they used to give surfing lessons in that pool before the water park opened each day. Crazy! Another must-do while at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is
Miss Adventure Falls. It's a raft ride but the craziest part of it all is you enter your innertube at ground level. Then, you are taken up to the top of the waterslide via an aqua-escalator. It's pretty cool. And of course, who can forget about the quintessential water park treat - mini doughnuts! You've got to pick up a dozen ... or two when the munchies set in!
I hope you enjoy your days visiting the water park while you are at Walt Disney World. It's such a fun way to beat the heat. If you have any other questions about this, or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help!
Have fun.
