We are coming to WDW from 19th May 08 until 10th June i know you have holidays around this time. Can you tell me which dates these are and which parks to avoid as my children are 4 & 8 we want to do other things when the parks are busy. thanks

I think you are referring to our Memorial Day weekend holiday. The actual holiday is on Monday, May 26. For that weekend, I would recommend visiting the Animal Kingdom on Friday, Hollywood Studios or Magic Kingdom on Saturday, Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios on Sunday and Epcot on Monday. All of the other parks have Extra Magic Hours and other events that would pull in the holiday crowds.

In addition, Mother’s Day is celebrated May 11, however this is not a federal holiday so businesses are not closed.  You may find the Magic Kingdom more crowded on this day.  Epcot is also offering a Mother’s Day brunch, therefore guests may go to this park for the brunch and to visit the Flower and Garden International Festival.

As the beginning of June gets closer, private and public schools begin to end classes for the Summer. Crowds will increase as kids begin their Summer vacations.

Have a wonderful time in WDW!
