we are coming to wdw in may and we will be staying at the fw cabins my ? is if we were in cabin lot 100 ot even cabins lot 2800 do we still have to get a bus to go to the store in the middle around the 1300 lots can we walk there or is that to far a walk.

Hi Kim,

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is set on 750 beautiful wooded acres in the Magic Kingdom area of Walt Disney World. It is an enormous resort. My family and I took the internal bus from the boat dock (not far from the 100 cabin loop) to the Meadow Trading Post (at the center of the resort grounds) just last month and I would definitely say that this distance is too far to walk unless you have the time and inclination to do so. You really can't beat the comfort and convenience of the complimentary Disney buses when it comes to navigating your way through Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
