Bonnie from CO Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We are coming to WDW on May 15th, which was planned far in advance, to now hear crowds are unbearable at MK. This is quite a disappointment to our family who chose to take kids out of school for the off peak season. Any advice? Help! Mom of 5.

Hey Bonnie, I have heard there have definitely been crowds but everyone I have spoken with says they have at least been very manageable.  My first recommendation is to arrive at MK as early as you can.  Typically the crowds grow larger in the afternoon.  Also make sure when you do arrive, you head straight to the attractions that tend to draw the largest crowds.  And without a doubt, take advantage of the Fast Pass system.  This will help make your day move a bit more smoothly.
Remember that many people say that Mondays are the most crowded at MK ,so try and pick another park on Monday and head over to MK the next day.
I truly hope this advice helps, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for moderate crowds.  I hope you and your entire family have a magical WDW vacation.
