We r coming to WDW in May for my DS 10th B-day. We are staying at SSR. I want to do a caracter meal or the Hoop Dee Doo but as you know these are $50 per person. My son doesn't eat any of that kind of food(only vienna HD and plan dry pancakes) any suggesti

It can be difficult when traveling with children who don't enjoy a wide variety of foods.  I would suggest a character meal that is a buffet where you can have your son pick the foods that are available and let him make his own choices.  I usually suggest breakfasts for families who are afraid their children will not eat much as it is usually less expensive then a dinner meal.

Some great character buffets offered at Walt Disney World include: Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club resort (breakfast), Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary resort (breakfast and dinner), Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom with Winnie the Pooh and friends (breakfast, lunch and dinner), Mickey's Backyard Barbecue at Fort Wilderness (dinner), 1900 Park Fare with Mary Poppins and Cinderella (breakfast and dinner), Tusker House in the Animal Kingdom park (breakfast), and Garden Grove in the Swan resort (dinner and weekend breakfasts).

Click HERE to get to the dining link. On the left side you will see DINING EXPERIENCES and click on that and then click on character dining to see the options and descriptions for those that I have mentioned above.
