I am coming to WDW in March of this year. My 10yo daughter always orders off kids menus and that is more than enough for her. Even though she is beyond 9, will I be able to order her kids meals at WDW? (haven't decided yet if we're doing dining plan.)

    Hi Betsy:

Disney World loves to accommodate their Guests, including 10 year olds who are discerning on what they like to eat.  Even though kids' menus are tailored to ages 3-9, if your 10 year old prefers the food on the kids' menus, then she can order food from the kids' menus (I've even seen adults order from the kids' menus).  Ordering off the kids' menus will be a more economical option for your family.

However, Disney cannot be flexible on the type of dining plan for your 10 year old daughter.  So if you choose to go the dining plan route, you will still have to pay the adult price for your 10 year old, even if she only orders from the kids' menus.

So based on the scenario you described in your question, if your daughter plans to eat mostly off the kids' menus, then the dining plan is likely not for your family.

    Enjoy your vacation.
