Coming to WDW in March with 2 adults and 2 children (4y and 5y) for only 2 nights. What is the best value or moderate resort closest to MK? We will have our own car, but would also prefer to use Disney transportation.

    Hi Tara!

This is a great question.  None of the Disney Moderate or Disney Value Resorts are particularly close to the Magic Kingdom; they are all about 10 to 15 minutes away using Disney transportation.  The best Disney Moderate Resort, in my opinion, is Port Orleans Riverside.  I love the theming of the resort, especially the Alligator Bayou section.  It also has a lot of services and amenities, including great boat transportation to Downtown Disney which is a lot of fun, especially at night.

The best Disney Value Resort in my opinion is the Art of Animation Resort or Pop Century.  If you need a Family Suite then definitely go with the Art of Animation Resort.  It is a fabulous brand new resort.  If you just need a standard room then I would compare prices though I do prefer the Art of Animation Resort over Pop Century.  Both resorts only have one bus stop and doesn't share buses with other resorts which makes it nice.

I hope this helps!  Good luck with your decision, and please write back with more questions!
