We'll be coming to WDW on the 24th and leaving on the 30th. Is IllumiNations every night we're at WDW?

Hey Linda! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I can’t believe that when I look ahead to your travel dates that I am looking at the calendar for January 2016! Time sure does seem to fly when you are having fun. IllumiNations:  Reflections of Earth in my opinion is a really touching fireworks display and show. I love that it focuses on our planet, how it began, life, and hope for our future. The Earth Globe is spectacular and when the fireworks light up the sky, it takes your breath away.

I checked the calendar for your vacation dates. Each night that you are at the Walt Disney World Resort, IllumiNations:  Reflections of Earth is on the schedule at 9:00 PM. Please note that the scheduled time of the performance can change so please be sure to check to make sure the time has stayed the same on the evening that you plan to view the performance!

I wanted to take a minute to talk about the weather during January just in case you haven’t traveled to Florida during this time. While the day time temperatures tend to be in the low 70’s, evening temperatures can dip down into the 50’s and below (Fahrenheit.) Sometimes Florida can experience a couple of weeks of really chilly temperatures. I always encourage guests to make sure that you have clothing that will be comfortable for the day and then warmer clothing for the evening. We usually bring jackets, hats, light mittens, and blankets for our children that are in strollers. You may never need any of this but trust me when I say if you don’t have it, you will really regret it (I’ve been there!)

I hope that you have a magical time!
