coming to wdw in late october,5 adults.myself,wife,25yr old daughter, her husband, and 18yr old daughter..have c.beach booked right now,but thinking about switch to fw cabins..have stayed at cb 4 times b4.never stayed at cabins, should we try something new?

I'm all for trying new resorts, John.  I hope--one day--to be able to say that I've stayed at all of them.  I can tell you that I have indeed stayed at Fort Wilderness in the cabins and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.  We appreciated the meandering paths, recreational opportunities and feeling of seclusion that Fort Wilderness provided.  And with a party of five adults, you will all enjoy the ability to stretch out a bit and maybe even come together for a game of cards on the patio every evening.  One thing I would mention is that you should definitely rent a golf cart for use during your stay.  Not only does it offer convenient transportation, but it's a lot of fun, too!  Have a great time!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
