We are coming to WDW in late February and was thinking on going to a water park but we are worried about the temp of the water. We have a 4 year old and wondering if it would be too cold.

    Hi Teresa,

Thank you for submitting your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

This is a good but tricky question! Living in Florida, I can tell you that the temperatures in the winter months can be very unpredictable. One week we have temperatures in the high 70s and the following week they can dip down to the low 50s! As for the temperature of the water, I can say that the pools in the Typhoon Lagoon Water Park are heated. My only concern for your 4 year old, would be when they exit the water, they may feel a little cold. My recommendation would be to test out the little one's resistance to the temperature of the water in your hotel's pool (Disney's resorts have heated pools) and if he/she can tolerate it, throw on that swim suit and head out to Typhoon Lagoon!

P.S. I mentioned Typhoon Lagoon because Blizzard Beach will be closed for refurbishment until March 16. 2013.
