We are coming to WDW in July for 8 days have a family of 6. 2 adults and 4 kids(ages 12,11,11,8). We are currently booked at the Cabins but are wondering if we should switch to Pop Century. I'm afraid it would be no big deal since we camp all the time

    Hi Gerard!

You have a great problem--deciding between two great resorts. (I'm assuming you're talking about the cabins at Fort Wilderness.) Pop Century is a colorful whimsical resort that is full of fun and magic. Fort Wilderness is an earthy homey resort that is full of adventure!

Honestly, my choice is Fort Wilderness. Even if you camp often, you haven't camped at Disney World! It's beautiful, pristine and secluded! I've stayed at the cabins before and they are so nice--and include maid service!

Fort Wilderness also has two pools, a beach, petting zoo and MY FAVORITE a Campfire Sing-a-long and outdoor movie with Chip and Dale. Not to mention awesome dining options--the Hoop Dee Doo Revue, Mickey's Backyard BBQ and Trail's End Restaurant. PLUS (yes, there's more!) you can see the Electric Water Pageant from the beach.

I think everyone should stay at Fort Wilderness at least once. It's a dream! And a magical vacation within your magical vacation!
