Hello! We are coming to WDW in Jan. and are making our ADR's. We are on the deluxe dining plan and would like to eat sushi at a TS restaurant (not in Epcot). Where can we go and what does sushi count as, an entree or an appetizer? Kona cafe maybe?

    Hi Christy,

The restaurants accepting the Dining Plan are always subject to change, especially at the start of each new year.  However, in the past Kona Island Sushi Bar at Disney's Polynesian Resort has accepted the Dining Plan.  Although it's a counter service type restaurant, I believe you need table service credits to use the plan.  That shouldn't be an issue since you are using the Deluxe Dining Plan

California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort also has great sushi.  My husband and I ordered it as an appetizer, but I believe it was a shared appetizer.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
