I am coming into WDW on 12/2 with my husband and 5 yr old daughter. What should I expect or the weather and how should I plan on packing. I tend to be an over packer.

    Hi Allison,

If you are an "over-packer," then you and I are birds of a feather.  I have the same tendency so I understand your concern.

Having been at Walt Disney World in early December last year, I want you to know that it can be mild or very cold in Orlando at that time of year, particularly at night.  I recommend that you pack layers for your family.  Then each of you can add or remove layers as the weather gets warmer or cooler throughout the day.  Be sure to include at least one hooded sweatshirt or jacket for each member of your family.

Keep in mind that there are laundry facilities available at each of the Disney resorts, if you find you need them.  That might make it easier for you to pack only what you think you'll need.  You'll be able to wash items and wear them again, if necessary.

Let us know, Allison, if there's any additional advice we can offer you as you prepare for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
