Hi, coming to WDW 3/17-3/24, want to go to hollywood studios on Monday and have reservations at TREX for lunch, what is the best way to get there and how much time should we allow for travel?

    Hello Tammy!

Can you believe it's already February? March (and your magical vacation) will be here before you know it!

In order to travel from Disney's Hollywood Studios(DHS) to Downtown Disney, you will have to make a transfer.  Buses do not run from the theme parks to Downtown Disney.  You have several options.  We tend to walk (10 minute walk) over to Disney's Boardwalk Inn and use their DTD bus.  You can also hop on a resort bus outside of the Disney's Hollywood Studios gates and then transfer to a DTD bus at another resort.  If you transfer to Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, you can take their boat to DTD.

Whenever you're traveling around Walt Disney World Resort property, give yourself plenty of time.  I would allow at least 60-90 minutes for your transfers.

Have a magical vacation and please come back and see me again real soon with any other questions you may have!

    Best Wishes,
    Ashley
