Will be coming to WDW for the fist time in April 2013 during spring break. Are there typically any specials or discounts during that time? Would love to get the free dining plan!

    Hi Mandi,

Although anything is possible, I'm afraid it is highly unlikely that a promotion including free dining will be offered during spring break 2013, especially if the dates of your spring break are close to Easter.  Traditionally, special offers have not been released during peak travel seasons at Walt Disney World.  (The weeks before and after Easter are very popular times to visit the Disney theme parks).  I've been to Walt Disney World many times but since my job makes it nearly impossible to visit during off-peak seasons I have never been able to take advantage of a free dining promotion.  I will, however, keep my fingers crossed that you will be more lucky.

Meanwhile, keep a close eye on the special offers page at the Walt Disney World homepage.  That's a great place to find the latest travel offers from Disney.  You may also want to contact a Disney-savvy travel agent to let them know your travel dates.  Then he or she could alert you if they see a deal that might apply to your proposed trip.  If you are a member of AAA, consider booking your spring break Disney trip in January as AAA typically offers their own special offers on Disney trips during the first month of every calendar year.

Best wishes, and thank you for your question!
