We are coming to WDW first week in July and this is our first time. I have an 8 yr old girl and a 13 yr old boy so I'm trying to find out what do you suggest are great places for both of them to enjoy at Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and Magic Kingdom...

    Hi Laronica!

I am thrilled to hear you will be taking your first magical trip to Walt Disney World so soon!  Your family will have a wonderful time exploring together, but there are a few of my family's favorites I think your kids might really like.

At Disney's Animal Kingdom, we love to eat breakfast with Donald Duck and friends at Tusker House Restaurant.  The food options are delicious and the characters will really "quack" you up.  After a delightful breakfast, we head to Kilimanjaro Safaris and Kali River Rapids--both at the top of my 9-year-old's must-do list.

At Magic Kingdom, we love the burgers and taco salads at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe.  The do-it-yourself topping bar is fantastic!  There are so many rides and attractions you will be sure to fill the day with smiles and excitement, but one of our favorite, lesser know activities, is A Pirate's Adventure ~ Treasures of the Seven Seas.  Your kiddos will have a great time working together to follow the maps and complete the pirate missions.

Have a wonderful vacation, Laronica!  If there is anything else I can help you with as you get ready for your adventure, please let me know.  Happy first visit to you!

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Colorado

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
