We are coming to WDW in February 2011, 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 2 & 4). We are looking at staying at Old Key West Resort because of the 2 bedrooms. What do you think?

    Hi Kelsey,

My family owns Disney Vacation Club, and we have stayed at Disney's Old Key West Resort many times.  I am a huge fan of this beautiful property.  First, the villas are HUGE.  The two-bedroom villas each have two separate bedrooms, a living room, dining area, laundry room and fully-equipped kitchen.  (You will find the largest two-bedroom villas of any of the DVC properties at Old Key West.)  My kids absolutely love being able to spread out in their own vacation home.  Having a kitchen and laundry in your own suite is a tremendous help.  We cut down on the amount of clothing we need to pack and the amount we spend on concessions in the parks.  The grounds of Old Key West are lovely, and the main pool area is a wonderful reprieve after a long day in the parks.  Olivia's, the table service restaurant at the resort is a great spot to enjoy a casual family dinner, and offers, what I believe to be, the best key lime pie at Disney!  Old Key West is very conveniently located to Downtown Disney, making this a great choice for dinner or an evening out.

    I think you've made a wonderful selection.

    Have a magical trip!
