    I will be coming to WDW Feb 2-6, 2013, and want to get my wife something for 15th anniversary. Last time I was there it was possible to get a picture put in crystal at the jewelers on Main Street. Is that still possible? Also, can they use any picture,?

    Hi Richard! What a sweet thought to surprise your wife with such a magical gift from Walt Disney World.  There are many different types of things you might consider that would make a gift very personal. The Main Street glasswork will still do some extraordinary things but I don't think they will use a photo anymore to etch. Things change constantly so I suggest you bring a photo along just in case.  They can personalize almost any gift there by adding names and dates. Check out the back area of the shop where you can watch a glassmaker blow glass into some pretty awesome pieces. Lately he will do vases and pitchers that resemble Mickey and Donald. It seems that each time I go he has developed something new and unique.

    You might also enjoy checking out the Image Works area at the conclusion of the Imagination Ride in Epcot. You have been able to get your picture taken here by a 3D camera and then have the image etched into a piece of your choice. I believe they are still doing this as they were on my last visit late spring.

    If you don't find anything to your liking in the glass area then consider having a portrait done by one of the many artists in the parks or at the resorts. I have brought a picture along with me and left it and they were able to draw it from the photo. This will be strictly a portrait but still a very nice gift and memory.

    I am sure whatever your wife receives as a gift from you she will cherish forever and will remember this trip to Walt Disney World!
