I am coming to WDW in Feb 2017 and am staying off-site. Do we need to purchase an after-hours ticket to attend the late night fireworks, or does our standard daytime park ticket allow us entry into the park to watch the various evening fireworks?

    Hey, Kathryn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited for your February 2017 trip. You will have a blast enjoying the lower crowd levels and all the magic Mickey and the gang have set up at Walt Disney World Resort.

Magic Your Way theme park ticket (without the Park Hopper Option) allows the Guest to attend any one theme park for the standard operating hours. For example, if you want to play in Magic Kingdom Park, the "Most Magical Place on Earth," and the operating hours are from 9:00 a.m. till 9:00 p.m., then your theme park ticket would allow you to experience all the activities, Wishes nighttime spectacular included, that Magic Kingdom Park has to offer. If, however, a theme park has either early morning or evening Extra Magic Hours, then as an off-site Guest you would not be able to participate in the theme park activities during those hours.

Disney Dad Tip: When theme parks close on the early side of the evening you may always head over to Disney Springs for fantastic food, entertainment and fun.

I hope this helps you plan your special Disney vacation. Please stop by with more questions.

Kathryn, enjoy making many Magical Memories at Walt Disney World Resort!
