Hi! We coming to WDW Feb. 13-18. Will they be getting ready for the flower and garden festival at that time? We were hoping to be able to see some of the topiaries while we are there. Is there a special tour where you can see them being created? Thanks!

Hi, Roger from my beautiful home state of Alabama! Epcot's gardens and flowers are beautiful any time of the year, but at the annual International Flower & Garden Festival, the park is brimming with extra special sights and smells! The festival is scheduled for March 2 - May 15, 2011 with new topiaries, workshops, tours, seminars and entertainment at the nightly concert series.

Although the magic makers are sure to be working on the festival while you're at Walt Disney World (WDW), there really won't be anything to see in the parks, and I don't know of any special festival "behind the scenes" tours. However, you may want to check out the Gardens of the World Tour or the Behind the Seeds Tour for the chance to peek "backstage" at the festival preparations.

Since you'll be there on Valentine's Day, make sure you make an Advanced Dining Reservation for your favorite restaurant before you leave! Have a wonderful Alabama day and a magical vacation!
