Coming to WDW with extended family in Sep (6 adults, 3 kids). Booked 2 x 2 bedroom villas at JH but would prefer 2 x 2 bedroom villas at VGF or BLT. Do villas become available 45 days prior to arrival date, when payment is due? Checking website hourly!

    Hi Melanie,

A trip to Walt Disney World with extended family can be so much fun!  I love your idea of booking multiple two-bedroom villas.  The Disney Vacation Club Villas are such great accommodations for large families.  I really enjoy having separate rooms for guests to socialize in and sleep in.  I also love the convenience of a full kitchen and washer and dryer right in the villa.

You are already booked at a wonderful resort.  Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House is lovely.  The decor is so rich and beautiful, and the ability to see exotic animals outside of nearly every window is fabulous!  I certainly understand why you are also looking at The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  These are also great resorts, with excellent proximity to Magic Kingdom.  They are also both very popular, so finding two, two-bedroom villas at one of them might prove to be very difficult.  The good news is that you already have accommodations booked even if the other ones do not open up!

There are many different times at which villas may become available for booking with traditional payment methods such as cash and credit cards.  I suggest that you just keep doing what you are doing - checking online for the availability of these Walt Disney World resorts.  Also, you can call Disney at 407-W-DISNEY (407) 934-7639 to check availability with a cast member.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Melanie.  Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
