Hi, we are coming to WDW for Easter this year arriving on the 31st March for two weeks, what can we expect with the weather , waiting times in the parks and is there a best day for certain parks. It is also my sons 8th Birthday when we are there.

    Hi there, Elizabeth!

You're coming at a delightful time. The Flower and Garden Show is in full swing at Epcot, and the pools at the Resorts are ready for lots of swimmers to welcome the warm weather.

While April is definitely warm, it is by no means the humid heat of the Florida summer. You'll find sunny days, breezy, temperate nights (bring a light sweater, just in case), and not much in the way of rain.

Because of the number of Spring Breaks held around Easter Week - and the week itself -, you can expect crowd levels to be on the higher side. If you are able to arrive early to each Park on its assigned day, it's likely you'll be able to work in some of the more sought-after rides fairly quickly.

Some great fan sites collect statistical data from attendance and use that data to predict wait times and crowd levels for the future. I recommend www.TouringPlans.com, an unofficial site with no connection to Disney. It's a great site for getting a sense of how busy any Park will be on any given day.

And happy birthday to your son! Do make sure you mention the special occasion to the Cast Member who checks you in at your home Resort. You'll get a complimentary birthday button for your son and some "I'm Celebrating" pins for the rest of your traveling party. Be sure to wear them throughout your visit.

    Have  a great time!

    See you later, celebrator,
