Coming to WDW during MLK weekend and staying at the Wilderness Lodge. Will Chip 'n Dale sing a long occur during this time and if so, when should we arrive? Trying to make dinner plans for Friday night but don't want to miss We have a 2 and 6 yr old.

    Hi Meredith,

I can't confirm the January times for the Chip 'n Dale Campfire Singalong just yet, but it is an event that is typically  scheduled every evening. Currently the times for the campfire are at 7:30 pm, the singalong at 8:00 pm, and the movie at 8:40 pm. However, with it getting darker earlier during the winter months, this time is often adjusted to begin earlier -- possibly even an hour earlier.  If I were making the plans, I'd try to make an early dinner around 5:00 pm.  This would allow you an hour for dinner with an additional 30 minutes of transportation time so that you should arrive around 6:30, when the campfire may possibly be beginning.

With staying at the Wilderness Lodge, you are short boat ride over to Fort Wilderness, so you may want to make your dinner reservations at your resort.  Have you considered Whispering Canyon Cafe? It isn't a quiet place to dine; lots and lots of fun for kids!  Similarly, at Fort Wilderness there is the Trail's End Restaurant, which I think is a nice place to escape the crowds, but still enjoy a lovely dinner.

When January arrives, I can confirm the times of the Campfire for you if you'd like by just sending another question my way by clicking here. I'd be more than happy to help out!

Have a fabulous trip; please let us know if we can help again.
