    We will be coming to WDW on December 7, 2011 for our wedding and we want to do something special for my grandfather. He loves to golf and we wanted to send him to play. My question is, does Disney allow just one player?

    Hi there Peter!

    What a great idea! I'm sure your Grandfather will love to go play golf at one of the fabulous Walt Disney World Courses! Did you get to see any of the Children’s Miracle Network Classic? Your Grandfather could be playing on the same courses!!! If you are staying at one of the Walt Disney World owned resorts, and you are paying full price for the round, your Grandfather will be eligible for free taxi transportation to and from the Golf Course and complimentary Golf Club rental! You will need to contact the golf shop to obtain available tee times (407) WDW-GOLF (939-4653) or book online. I also found out that if your Grandfather will be playing solo, he will be paired with others to make a foursome.

    According to the Disney Golf frequently asked questions page:

    Yes. In order to give all our Guests the opportunity to play, we do try to pair players into foursomes whenever practical. This promotes a consistent pace of play. For less-skilled golfers who are worried about being paired up, we recommend the 9-hole walking Disney′s Oak Trail Golf Course.
